Autumn Market Update: Increased Buyer Activity and Positive Sales Across Newport & Shifnal

As Rightmove has highlighted, September has seen a noticeable increase in property  viewings, valuations and offers, signalling renewed activity within the property market as we  move into the autumn period.

The summer market is traditionally a more challenging time for the property industry. With  families concentrating on holidays, travel and the school summer break, buyer activity and  the number of property viewings can naturally dip during July and August. This seasonal  slowdown is something we see regularly, and this year was no exception.

Despite this, we remained very active throughout the summer months and, during August  and into early September, secured several new instructions across both Newport and  Shifnal. This is an encouraging indication that vendors are continuing to have confidence in  the market and recognise the importance of having their property professionally presented  and actively marketed as buyer activity begins to strengthen.

Sales activity has also remained positive throughout the summer, with numerous successful  sales agreed across a wide area. We have agreed sales in Newport, Shifnal, Muxton,  Shebdon, Chetwynd Aston and The Humbers, demonstrating that there continues to be  demand across a range of locations and property types.

As we move further into September and towards the traditionally stronger autumn market,  we are seeing increased levels of buyer engagement, with more people arranging viewings,  requesting valuations and progressing towards making offers.

Overall, the summer months have been encouraging, with continued sales, new instructions  and a steady level of buyer interest. With activity now picking up through September, we  are optimistic about the months ahead!
